Responsibilities

  • Reservations Management: Process, amend, and confirm room reservations while ensuring all information is accurately recorded and entered into the system.
  • Selling: The Reservations Agent is responsible for selling the hotel and providing information to prospective guests. They are required to capture sales from the incoming calls and emails and coordinate details of each reservation internally to ensure the guest’s satisfaction.
  • Guest Prioritization: Give priority to IHG One Rewards members and regular guests, especially during peak periods.
  • Coordination and Communication: Liaise with Banqueting, Sales, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Attention to Detail: Periodically review and inspect reservation details to avoid duplicates or errors and make necessary adjustments for VIPs and special requests.
  • Daily Tasks: Print daily availability reports, complete task lists, and ensure all correspondence is filed and organized.
  • Team Collaboration: Attend and contribute to Sales and Front Office meetings, and assist other departments when needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Professional proficiency in English and Dutch (a third foreign language is a plus)
  • Analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with Opera reservation system is preferred.
