Responsibilities

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

  • Managing daily sales activities and coaching your team to deliver to their full potential
  • Develop and cultivate strong relationships with key clients on the American market to drive business and increase fare market share
  • Manages and oversees the sales operations and trains and mentors the sales team with the goal to set and exceed objectives.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking activities to increase the hotel’s visibility and attract new business.
  • Hosts familiarizations stays, conduct site inspections and gives sales presentations to showcase the hotel’s services and products.
  • Hitting all personal and team sales goals to help us maximize profitability
  • Creating and implementing sales plans that drive measurable incremental occupancy, increase average rates, increase volume, food and beverage and banquet sales
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, guest feedback and the sales performance to identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Uses data and other resources to maintain an awareness of the hotel’s market position. Researches competitor’s strategies to identify ways to grow occupancy and RevPAR and increase market share.
  • Producing and reviewing monthly reports to monitor performance
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, advertising campaigns, and special offers.
  • Leading marketing efforts to up-sell guests on hotel services, offerings, and amenities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification
  • Experience in luxury hospitality/ hotel sales setting with direct supervisory experience over a sales team
  • Strong knowledge of local businesses and business trends required
  • Must speak English
  • Be a social butterfly and natural networker – actively engage with the local community, partners and clients.
  • Strong media and presentation skills.
